How are tables detected?

Each page is scanned for table-like grids of text, which are extracted into real, editable spreadsheet cells — one sheet per PDF page, in order.

What if my PDF doesn't have tables?

Nothing is lost — every page's full text is always included in its sheet underneath any detected tables, or on its own if no table was found.

Will complex or scanned tables convert perfectly?

Clean, ruled tables convert best. Scanned/image-only PDFs have no extractable text — run the OCR tool first to make them text-searchable.
